Custom and Multi-Room Installations

Custom and Multi-Room installations require special expertise. Although we still frequently do wiring for single, dedicated "Home Theatre" rooms or a remote volume control and a set of speakers in one other room, the demand for a completely wired home, with the ability to control anything from anywhere in the house, is quickly increasing. New Homes and Renovations
We have the product and knowledge to correctly install and "future proof" your new environment. Using "Structured Wiring", we can let you add, subtract or change the way sound, (and a whole lot of other things), are distributed throughout your home. It is now possible to push a single button and have your front screen come down, the lights dim to the correct level, and the theatre system power up and play a movie!

Costs
The cost of "wiring" a new home is relatively inexpensive, but once wired, the house can be completed as needed. South of the border pre-wired houses are now becoming the rule and not the exception and have a resale value that greatly offsets the cost of installation.

Home Theater Custom Installation Example

This home theater installation was designed to replace an existing fireplace. After the removal of the firebox, a shelving unit was designed and installed. The remaining area of the fireplace was desiged to incorporate a 57 inch rear projection television.

The bottom of the shelving unit was used to house the subwoofer. The front cover has a grill cloth covered cutout.   The left and right front and rear surround speakers were painted to match the wall color. White grill cloth replaced the original black cloth.

Slots were cut into the back of the equipment rack before installing the glass shelves and the equipment.   This is a view of the finished project.

This is the high definition 1080i rear projection television used in this project.   These are the speakers that were used in this installation.
